I’ve never seen this trail printed in any guidebook. It was a secret neighborhood sanctuary until
someone published the trail on-line. A
gemstone, literally in my own backyard.
15 minutes from my house. All
these years! We’ve already decided to
come back to hike in every season.
Reading the description, it appeared to have many junctions, and I
thought about bringing trail markers. It
wasn’t necessary. Pretty easy to follow,
with hidden arrow’s, and old ribbons on the limbs. There was only one other car, a lone
fisherman and we had the place to ourselves.
At least until the way back.
Families came out of nowhere and I counted 21 cars when we left.
