If I knew we’d have 10 people going, I probably would have
picked a different trail. When I peeked out the window this morning and
saw the rain, I naturally anticipated getting the text messages “not going” Believe it or not, only 2 people
bailed! Once we got to the picture
perfect waterfall, I questioned if we were on the right trail. I tend to think of waterfalls having some
height to them. Perhaps we missed something? The trail
itself was muddy in most places. Got
covered in it. With that said, it was
perfect. Elevation gain was gentle and
I got to spend the day with Michelle! 30
years of friendship - it’s easy to pick up where you left off. She brought her husband and my
favorite part, her two dogs. Normally
only walking Banda (who is blind), it was strange to be hiking with dogs who
are sighted. (You didn’t have to keep an
eye out for obstacles) 4 miles felt
great and right now ………. for the first time in a long time, I’m not scared about how I’m going to feel tomorrow. Yay
