Taylor Mtn ~ 4 miles

I say…..always expect the unexpected……

Arlene’s leg has been bothering her, my left knee has been bothering me and Banda’s leg is not 100% so…..we decided to pick an easy hike. Four miles and an elevation gain of 550 feet. The book said we would follow a creek for the first mile. We didn’t see a creek and it started up hill almost immediately. We went with it anyway and it was very unique! Alternating from covered forest to open desert “like” the entire way. It wasn’t until our way back we located an unmarked trail by a creek. The very one we originally intended. *sigh* We decided to check it out. We came out to the road in a very obscure place.

On the way home, Banda threw up in my car. My cat threw up in my living room (as soon as I set foot in the door.) My dishwasher started leaking all over the kitchen floor and….in the midst of cleaning up, I left my slider door open and my indoor kitty snuck outside…I found her eating grass!
