Cougar Mountain ~ 4 miles ish

I am slow to embrace winter. Usually winter is over about the same time I've come to accept it. Days like today make it possible to move through it. Breaking a sweat in 29 degree temps. Being on a familiar mountain that looks brand new in the snow. Almost maybe getting lost. Not really.... but not knowing for certain has its moments. Burning in the legs and imagining the latte that is just ahead. The quiet stillness. The cutest little mouse you ever saw. Tired happy dog.
