Another Karelian Bear Dog Day
The Adopt A Stream Foundation hosted a presentation for the WDFW at McCollum Park in Everett today. I got to meet Colter who is just 15 months old and already showing great potential for a career in tracking bears. Today included a live demonstration of a hard release (minus a real bear) which was cool, the group a boy scouts in attendance obviously had fun too. As humans continue to encroach on bear habitat, it is more important than ever to support the Karelian Bear Dog program.
