Dirty Harry's Balcony ~ 4 miles ~ Ele 1200

I haven’t been hiking in two weeks. It felt like a lifetime! I got out there today; regardless of the heat…did I mention heat? It was hot! This trail was a little tricky to find (no signs) ..but we did! I loved this hike, rocks and all. I’ll be coming back someday. It deserves to have a sign for the trailhead. I’ve never seen it mentioned in any of the books I have. Maybe that is the beauty of it. My little secret. It was just us girls today - Michelle, Jen, Kelly and Banda (except Dozer who is a boy) and I was so glad to see my long time friend Kelly. It’s been years. She came over afterwards and we went out in my (rubber) boat. Today was all about fun and I had it.

You have a talent for photography and good taste in your subject matter...and in your dog. We have a matching pet: Lizzy looks exactly like Dozer. Where exactly is Dirty Harry's Balcony? It looks like that might be Mount Baker. That's in my backyard.

Hi Mark - Thank you. That's nice to hear. This trail is actually off I-90. I can give you directions if you want to e-mail me. My e-mail is on my profile page. Say Hi to Lizzy and Happy Hiking!

Sounds like a great day! It's always nice to hike with fun friends. (I found you from the hike-a-thon email)

So, Crazydazy-

Have you gotten to Mount Baker Yet?

My travels today will take me to REI. Soon I shall find Mt Baker on my calendar. I was bummed to miss you at Trailsfest. Trying to find parking delayed me. Here are pics from that day. http://picasaweb.google.com/crzydazy7/WTATrailsfest2009#
