Ode to Jill

I used to hike with my BFF Jill
We liked to climb up big hills
Then her knee went snap
She said "oh crap!"
Now she can't hike without pills.
She refuses to see a doctor
And I can’t stand to hear her holler
Since then, Tom proposed
And plans are being made
That’s ok
The mountains will wait Jill
My granola tree hugger….
