I tried something new today and had a total BLAST! It was the best $20 I ever spent. We went to Snoqualmie Pass and rented some snow shoes and hit the trail. It was a lot easier than I would have thought. Maybe a little aukward. I thought for sure I would be cold (I always am) but I pulled off my hat, scarf and gloves after about 20 minutes. I could not have asked for better weather. It was also absolutely gorgeous. I would of liked to have gone further but we got a late start and had time contraints.

I have no doubt I will be purchasing some snow shoes of my very own. There is no stopping me now! Here is a picture of Joy below, also snow shoeing for the first time.
