(We failed to realize it was 45 miles away from home- hee hee) Quite the long day but worth the views. The most adventurous part of the trip was French Creek Road on the way to the trailhead. It’s only 3.8 miles but it’s a single gravel road with many potholes. I enjoyed this hike very much. The second waterfall was incredible and easy in elevation to get to. We headed about ½ mile past it and only turned around because we were hungry for the sandwiches waiting in the car.
