Jill and I had invited Terri to hike with us....It turns out she won a contest through the Washington Trails Assoc and had the opportunity to hike with Ed Viesturs! AND it was for the same day, place and almost the same time. Smurfy!  This is all true

Life always has a way of keeping you on your toes. I knew it would be an interesting day when I packed a hard cover book into my back-pack this morning to stalk someone in the woods for an autograph.

Ed Viesturs is the first American to climb the world’s 14 highest peaks! What an honor to meet him on the summit of West Tiger! (the 8,005,008th highest peak in all of North America) To date Jill and I have hiked 90 miles together (including the 6 miles today) and it seems we still have a ways to go! lol
