Jill’s book led us astray again. The directions to the trailhead were wrong! We prevailed and found it anyway. A fellow hiker commented about our bear bells as we entered the wilderness. “I’ve seen them in here, be careful" Oh Joy. I wonder how bears and horses get along. There was horse poo everywhere! We did not want to get lost in here and marked our trail with the rocks in this photo. It was the first warm day of the year and I could not wait to really get hiking again.
